Stephen Ola Jagun, the principal partner of Jagun Associates, boasts an impressive career spanning almost three decades in the field of facility management. A trailblazer in the industry, he holds the distinction of being the first African Fellow of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
Notably, he also served as the past president of the Nigerian Chapter of IFMA, contributing significantly to the growth and development of facility management in Nigeria.
A prominent figure in the Nigerian facility management landscape, Mr. Jagun chaired the National Steering Committee of the Association of Facilities Management Practitioners, Nigeria (AFMPN) – The Nigeria FM Initiative and he is now the chairman of Board of Trustees of the Association. Mr. Jagun is a graduate of Estate Management and holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Lagos, showcasing his dedication to academic excellence in the field. His impactful roles also extend to being a Certified Facility Manager of Japan (CFMJ) and a valued member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) of America.
Mr. Jagun’s accolades include the 2015 IFMA International’s Distinguished Member/Professional of the Year Award, a testament to his outstanding contributions to the international facility management community. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (FNIESV) and holds the esteemed title of Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).

His commitment to community extends to roles such as being a member of the National Traffic Management Committee of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Mr. Jagun’s vast experience is complemented by an extensive list of licenses and certifications, including Valuer Registration with RICS and IFMA International Certified Facility Manager (CFM). His educational journey includes obtaining a Certificate in Real Estate Negotiation & Communication Skills from Dubai Real Estate Institute in 2014, a Master’s in Project Management from the University of Lagos in 2002, and a Higher National Diploma in Estate Management (Distinction) from Kaduna Polytechnic in 1993.
