Hajiya Zainab Saleh: A Leader in Facility Management, Real Estate, and Sports Administration
Hajiya Zainab Saleh is a distinguished leader with over two decades of experience in facility management, real estate, hospitality, and sports administration. Known for her strategic vision, operational excellence, and commitment to innovation, Hajiya Zainab has successfully led teams, transformed organizations, and driven growth in multiple industries.
Throughout her career, Hajiya Zainab has managed over 200 employees, overseen the operations of 5 boutique hotels, and supervised 12 residential estates, demonstrating her leadership and organizational skills. Her expertise spans hotel management, property management, business development, consultancy, and records management, making her a versatile leader who thrives in complex environments.
Currently, Hajiya Zainab holds several leadership positions across different sectors. She serves as Managing Director of Brains and Hammers Facility Management Limited, where she oversees comprehensive facility management services, and WhiteOak Management Services Limited, ensuring high-quality standards in management services. She is also the Managing Director of Robyn’s Realtors Limited, where she leads real estate operations and strategic development, and Executive Director of Check Inn Prime Suites and Resort Limited (Check Inn Hotels), focusing on luxury hospitality management. In addition, she is the Managing and Marketing Director of File Right Limited, a document management company, and provides strategic oversight as a Board of Trustees member at Brains and Minds Academy.
Hajiya Zainab is also a founding member of the Zainab Saleh Foundation, which promotes female participation in sports, most notably through the annual Zainab Saleh International Female Open Karate Championship. Her leadership in sports extends to her role as Technical Director for Karate in Lagos State, a World Karate Judge, and a Continental Referee, as well as her position as Chairperson of the Women’s Affairs Commission of the Union African Karate Federations (UFAK). She has made significant contributions to promoting gender equality and empowerment in sports.
A passionate advocate for education and professional development, Hajiya Zainab holds an MBA from the University of South Wales and degrees in both Arts and Sciences from Ahmadu Bello University. Her professional certifications include being a Certified Facility Manager (CFM) from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), a Chartered Facilities Management Surveyor (MRICS) with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and a Lead Auditor for ISO 41001:2018 from the British Standards Institution (BSI). She is also a Fellow and Certified Management Consultant (FIMC CMC) with the Institute of Management Consultants.
