Professional Journey
Mr. Egbunike’s journey began in 1979 when he served as a Senior Estate Surveyor & Valuer at Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited, where he played a crucial role in property acquisition and the relocation of over 1000 employees for the establishment of a multi-billion dollar steel plant. His leadership skills and dedication led to a successful takeoff of the project.
In 1987, he founded Ora Egbunike & Associates, establishing the firm in Lagos and extending its network of branches. Over 24 years, he navigated the complexities of administrative receivership and managed high-rise buildings, demonstrating unparalleled expertise in property management and recovery.
In 1999, Mr. Egbunike assumed the role of Chairman at Total Facilities Management Limited, overseeing the effectiveness of the Board and guiding the company in setting and implementing its strategies and policies until 2017.
His contributions to the real estate landscape include serving as Resident Estate Surveyor & Valuer at Ado Chukwuma & Associates from 1985 to 1987, where he established the firm in Lagos and cultivated a strong institutional clientele base.
